MMSP (SMP) Blind Mate Connectors
Micro-Mode blind mate interconnect systems have been designed to accommodate the large radial and axial misalignment tolerances required by high density modular packaging. For packaging applications with large numbers of interconnections, module alignment can present problems with assembly forces, maintenance of electrical performance, and reliability after repeated mating cycles. Micro-Mode's SMP design concept utilizes a 3-piece interconnect system, which offers greater tolerance than rigid 2-piece designs. The flexibility of the Micro-Mode design eliminates many of the misalignment problems, while maintaining high performance characteristics.
Micro-Mode's SMP series of blind mate connectors are continually recognized for their quality and superior performance. Manufactured in accordance with MIL-PRF-39012 and MIL-STD-348, all Micro-Mode SMP connectors are held to our highest standards insuring consistent electrical and mechanical performance every time. Our SMP series of blind mate are compatible with all SMP connectors, such as Gilbert Corning's GPO® line of SMPs.
