MBMB Blind Mate Connectors
Micro-Mode blind mate interconnect systems have been designed to accommodate the large radial and axial misalignment tolerances required by high density modular packaging. For packaging applications with large numbers of interconnections, module alignment can present problems with assembly forces, maintenance of electrical performance, and reliability after repeated mating cycles. Micro-Mode's MBMB design concept utilizes a 3-piece interconnect system, which offers greater tolerance than rigid 2-piece designs. The flexibility of the Micro-Mode design eliminates many of the misalignment problems, while maintaining high performance characteristics.
Manufactured in accordance with MIL-PRF-39012, all Micro-Mode MBMB coaxial connectors are held to our highest standards insuring consistent electrical and mechanical performance every time. Our MBMB series of blind mates are compatible with all BMB connectors, such as Gilbert Corning's GMS™ line of coaxial connectors. Ultra precision machining insures you maintain consistent performance from every Micro-Mode coaxial connector.
